As a response to the recent coronavirus outbreak, Enantis joined the international efforts and became a member of FASTCURE consortium (https://fastcure.net/).
The goal of this initiative is to employ structural targeting of coronavirus using repurposing and efficient diagnostics. Enantis will contribute with computational analysis of protein-ligand complexes, compound transport process analysis, prediction of disease-related mutations and identification of mutagenesis hotspots.
The lessons learned, the data management system and automated workflows, from the genome to the drug candidates, will be made available as a cloud-based, distributed, global emergency response system to ensure an immediate and well-coordinated response not only to COVID-19, but also to future outbreaks.

CEO of Enantis Featured in PharmaBoardroom Article
“The whole start-up scene is progressing dramatically in the last couple of years, especially here in #brnoregion thanks to the JIC support. But this doesn’t apply to biotech, unfortunately. Since the biotech ecosystem is underdeveloped, outsiders may not be confident in the prospects of Czech companies in this field. The only way to persuade them otherwise is with our products and expertise. And we work hard to break this glass ceiling.“ says Roman Badik, CEO of Enantis, in the interview for PharmaBoardroom.

Rafts4Biotech Review Meeting
At the end of January, Enantis participated at the second Review Meeting of the Rafts4Biotech H2020 project in Brussels. It has been 36 months of hard work, some obstacles, lots of results and great progress that we got to share with EC Officer Carmen de Vicente and the expert Michael Desvaux.
After this fruitful meeting we are ready to dive into the final year of our project and to keep moving forward with our efforts to optimise industrial processes with our engineered bacterial lipid rafts!
Machine Learning in Enzyme Engineering Paper
Enantis would like to promote a great work of its founders, Jiri Damborsky and Zbyněk Prokop, who co-authored the following paper: Machine Learning in Enzyme Engineering.
The paper is highly relevant to our expertise as the trends of protein engineering are shifting in the direction of AI predictions.
PF 2020
This year was full of new opportunities for Enantis.
Due to the growing demand for our product on the global market, we are dealing with partners to secure a license agreement to reach even more customers. We have new molecules in the pipeline with one of them entering the market soon. And we managed to get the ISO 9001 certificate proving the quality of our production and services.
We are looking forward to the new challenges in 2020.
We Wish You a Lovely Christmas Time and a Happy New Year.
Enantis is ISO Certified
Enantis is proud to announce the receipt of ISO 9001:2015 certificate for the quality management system in the field of research, development and production of proteins.
The whole company worked hard for this achievement and the certification proves we are hundred percent committed to the quality of our products and processes as well as the global customer satisfaction. The long process of getting here and the combined effort of the whole Enantis team has been rewarded and we are now in compliance with the international quality system standards.
New Enantis Video
Enantis is proud to present the new company video!
We are really happy with the result and hope you like it as much as we do. The video will later be placed at our website and used for advertising at conferences.
Our video was created by Jiří Fiala, who did an outstanding job. Its creation was supported by JIC – business with a purpose (Creative vouchers programme) and of course by all employees of Enantis who participated.
Thank you all for making this happen…
